When I’m not busy interviewing, you can find me hanging out with my dog Ouzo, consuming endless amounts of podcasts and spending too much money on sourdough bread.
Currently, I have the privilege of being the Manager of Talent Attraction with Jobber.
Jobber was launched in 2011 with the modest goal to help solve the day-to-day challenges of mobile service businesses. Over the years the company and the software have grown tremendously, but the reason we exist remains the same: to help people in small business be more successful.
I’m the proud founder of Acts of Greatness, a non-profit that offers community awards to LGBTQ youth that celebrate their accomplishments.
Since launching in January 2014, Acts of Greatness is building a community of support. We bring people together to recognize leaders in the LGBTQ community, empower our next generation and tell each other’s stories.
Being who you were born to be is true empowerment. And showing up and being yourself is indeed an act of greatness.
In 2017, I co-founded T.O. Tech Gives Back, an annual volunteering event when Toronto’s tech community comes together to do good with local nonprofits.
T.O. Tech Gives Back recognizes that tech companies and nonprofits alike have a lot of ongoing responsibilities. That's why T.O. Tech Gives Back is here to make it easier for these organizations to engage with one another.
On November 2019, we’re hosting a networking event where HR and tech professionals meet with newcomers to facilitate understanding of the tech sector’s job market.
I’ve been speaking publicly for several years. I’ve had the pleasure of delivering presentations and seminars to small groups to audiences of over 250 attendees.
Topics I’ve spoken on range from the importance of storytelling in recruiting, belonging in the workplace, and creating team member engagement strategies.
